As the grandson of legendary crooner Jerry Vale, Logan Vale grew up immersed in the sounds of big bands and smooth vocals. With years of study and performance, he brings a pure, traditional take on jazz standards, aiming to share their timeless beauty with new generations.
Logan Vale is a jazz vocalist and pianist with over 20 years of experience on piano and more than a decade of vocal performance. He studied music in college, trained with vocal coaches, and furthered his craft in the competetive Great American Songbook Academy for 2 years, led by Michael Feinstein.
Logan has built a strong presence in the Rhode Island jazz scene, having had a weekly residency at a local bar and performing at The George in Providence, which was recognized as Rhode Island’s Best Live Music Venue. He has also sung at various venues with local bands and took the stage at the renowned Birdland Jazz Club in New York.
In the studio, Logan has worked with top-tier musicians, recording his debut album at The Stables Studio. The project features Gray Sargent, Tony Bennett’s guitarist of 20 years, and showcases Logan’s commitment to preserving the authenticity of jazz standards. With a deep respect for the genre’s traditions and a refined, classic sound, Logan continues to bring timeless jazz to both new and seasoned audiences.
